"Play in the Park" is aimed at families, groups of friends and senior citizens who want to spend time together in the countryside. The outdoor games can be borrowed free of charge from the Meinerzhagen Tourist Information Office (Zur Alten Post 1) during opening hours for a deposit.
Whether it's a relaxed game of XXL chess on the chessboard next to the villa in the park, boules with friends or throwing rings with the little ones - the focus is on playing together and having fun outdoors, without any pressure to perform.
The following games are currently available to borrow:
1 × Viking chess
2 × boules sets with metal balls (for the boules court)
1 × boules set with plastic balls (for the boules court)
1 × cross-boules set (for meadow areas)
1 × ring toss
1 set of XXL chess pieces (for the chess field at the Villa im Park)

Directions
The Volkspark is located 50m from the bus and train stations in Meinerzhagen. Free parking spaces are available in the town center (e.g. behind the Stadthalle, at the Sparkasse etc.).
