The installation consists of several artistically designed wooden airplanes, which are seemingly light and playfully placed in the forest. They symbolize freedom, vastness and a change of perspective - central ideas of the Sauerland-Höhenflug - and blend harmoniously into the surrounding landscape.
Haus Eckern is located in the immediate vicinity and is the ideal place to stop for refreshments during the hike. Just a few steps away is one of two so-called forest sofas. From here, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the Nordhelle, the highest point of the Ebbegebirge.
The combination of art, nature and views makes this place a special stopover on the Sauerland-Höhenflug - perfect for a break, a moment of peace or a souvenir photo.
