Visit the charming market square in Hallenberg, the historic "parlor" of the town in the picturesque Sauerland region. Surrounded by magnificent half-timbered houses, you will discover a real gem here on the southern edge: the historic Petrusbrunnen fountain.

This fascinating sandstone fountain from 1756 used to secure the water supply and is now a wonderful photo motif. Admire the detailed figure of St. Peter on its pedestal. At its feet you can see the old Hallenberg town coat of arms and a dragon - symbols of heaven, earth and the underworld.

Take in the unique atmosphere of this place on your trip to the Hochsauerland. A stroll through the historic old town will immediately inspire you!
