Iserlohn-Letmathe Train Station

The Iserlohn-Letmathe train station is located in the Letmathe district of Iserlohn, right on the Lenne River in the Genna neighborhood.
Properties:
The Ruhr-Sieg line runs along the river and branches off toward Fröndenberg.
Both passenger and freight traffic are handled here.
In 1860, the Letmathe station was connected to the line, and in 1864, the line to Iserlohn was opened (later extended to Menden and Fröndenberg).
There are two pedestrian bridges in the immediate vicinity: the old station bridge and the Luisenbrücke.
This connects the station directly to the center of Letmathe.
Car parking spaces (Park & Ride) and a bus stop are located right next to the station building.
Bus lines 8, 15, 16, and 27 operated by the Märkische Verkehrsgesellschaft stop right in front of the station.
For rail service, the RE16, RE34, IC 34, and RB91.
Since 2015, the Iserlohn Workshops of Diakonie Mark-Ruhr have been operating a café and kiosk in the station building under the name “Bahnsteig 42,” where people with and without disabilities work together as a team.
