The Homertturm is located on Mount Homert, which rises 539 meters above sea level, in the southern part of the Lüdenscheid municipal area. From a height of 22 meters, the tower offers a wonderful view of the surrounding area.

Directions to the Homertturm hiking parking lot: From downtown, drive toward Versetalsperre-Herscheid and turn right at the Piepersloh roundabout (just before the Lüdenscheid-Süd highway exit) toward Homert-Meinerzhagen. 

The shelter is open on Sundays from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
