To reach this hiking parking lot just outside Hesborn, turn left onto Buchhagenweg from the L 617—coming from Liesen—just before the Borbet company. The road curves to the right and then left again as it passes the company. Continue straight ahead to reach the “Hohe Schlade” hiking parking lot below the Hilmesberg.

The Sauerland-Höhenflug trail passes directly by this parking lot.

The Hohe Schlade hiking parking lot serves as a great starting point for a hike to the Bollerberg Tower.

A hike of approximately 12 km from Hallenberg-Hesborn to Hallenberg passes by the “Hohe Schlade” parking lot. More details here.
