The Hohe Bracht ski resort is located in Lennestadt, above the neighborhoods of Bilstein and Altenhundem, at an elevation of approximately 600 meters above sea level. The Skiclub Lennestadt e.V. maintains cross-country trails and an alpine ski area here. These are nestled within the idyllic, forested landscape of the southern Sauerland. Here, sports and nature still coexist in harmony.

The cross-country ski trails to Lennestadt-Bilstein and Olpe-Fahlenscheid can be reached via the Kreggenbergschleife.

The alpine ski slope, equipped with a lift and floodlights, is located on the north slope of Hohe Bracht, below the Aussichtsturm Hohe Bracht, at an elevation of 510–580 m.

  • The run is approximately 500 meters long.
  • Skiing operations take place when there is sufficient natural snow. For more information, visit www.skiclub-lennestadt.de, www.bergfex.de, and www.wintersport-arena.de
  • The lift system itself is divided into two sections. For nature conservation reasons, no T-bar lifts were installed here; instead, so-called circulating lifts with gripper bars were used. This eliminates the need for unsightly lift poles. The lifts are completely dismantled during the snow-free season
  • The ski slope is illuminated by a powerful floodlight system as darkness falls

Opening hours when there is sufficient natural snow:
Monday through Friday: 3:00 PM–9:00 PM (with floodlights as darkness falls)

Saturdays and Sundays: 10:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m. (with floodlights as darkness falls)
