Many other hiking trails converge at the Rhein-Weser-Turm hiking portal alongside the Rothaarsteig and offer the possibility of various hikes, such as the 13.5 km circular trail on the Rhine-Weser watershed. An easy hiking tour is offered by the "Grenzgeschichten hautnah" from the Rhein-Weser-Turm into the Schwarzbachtal.

From the Rhein-Weser-Turm, a fantastic view opens up over the "Land of a Thousand Mountains" and an audio story provides insights into the history of the lookout tower.

From Kirchhundem, follow the L553 to Rhein-Weser-Turm. Take the TaxiBus* on bus route R36 to the "Rhein-Weser-Turm" stop. *TaxiBus only runs after 45 minutes advance reservation, which is possible from 8 am to 8 pm and for trips on the same evening until 10 pm at www.MeinTaxiBus.de or 08003 504045. For groups of 5 or more people at least 24 hours in advance.
