Since the 1996 season, the "Am Damm" outdoor pool has been a modern, stainless steel pool, consisting of a 25m swimming pool (6 lanes) with an adjoining diving pool (1m pool and 3m platform), a free-form non-swimmers' pool with various attractions (water mushroom, massage jets, sunbathing areas, etc.) and a paddling pool. The pool water is heated by a solar absorber system.
In combination with the bright and friendly shower and changing rooms, attractive catering facilities and spacious sunbathing and play areas, the conditions are in place for a pleasant and relaxing stay for bathers.

"On the first hot day of the pool's opening year in 1996 - which was also Ascension Day - we had a record-breaking 5,500 bathers throughout the day," recalls swimming champion Uwe Sperling.
You can really enjoy a dip in the cool water in the 14,000 square meter area. Sperling: "Our entire team is really looking forward to welcoming the people of Hemer back to our beautiful pool".
Access is currently open, i.e. no proof of vaccination or test status is required. However, masks are mandatory in the changing rooms and compliance with the AHA-L rules is recommended in the cash desk area.
As soon as new regulations and guidelines are published, the rules will be adapted accordingly.
