Finnentrop Station came into the spotlight during the third “Lennelebt!” festival: At the conclusion of the construction work, Minister of Construction and Transportation Michael Groschek praised Finnentrop Station as a true gem, and the “Bicycle-Friendly Station in the Lenne Valley” plaque was unveiled. Finnentrop Station has been given a facelift in recent years. It has become bright, open, and welcoming, and now offers a wide range of amenities for bus and train passengers. These include all the amenities one would expect from a modern station: a ticket office, a waiting area, Öffentliche Toilette, food service, a bakery, as well as more than 100 new Park & Ride spaces, five RV sites, elevators, and a ramp with accessible entrances.
Directions
The Finnentrop train station is located on the B236 / Bamenohl Straße. It can also be reached from the Lennepark parking lot on Attendorn Straße via a pedestrian bridge.
