The stadium area of the Hochsauerland cross-country skiing center in Westfeld is the sporting heart of the cross-country skiing offer and meets international standards. Here, both classic cross-country skiers and skating fans will find ideal training conditions on technically demanding trails.
The trails in the stadium area are double-tracked for the classic technique and have separate, wide skating trails that are regularly professionally groomed. The floodlit night trail is popular and allows training even after dark.
Thanks to the varied laps with waves, bends and short climbs, the stadium is suitable for beginners as well as ambitious athletes and competitions. Regional and national races also take place here regularly.
The cross-country ski trail network comprises eight circular trails with a total length of over 50 kilometers.
Thanks to its convenient location, there are direct connections to the cross-country trail networks in Altastenberg, Winterberg and the Rothaarkammt. This makes it easy to extend the cross-country skiing experience to neighboring regions.
A cross-country house with changing rooms, ski hire, ski school, waxing room and sanitary facilities rounds off the offer.
