The tunnel in the Andreasberg district of Bestwig serves as a reminder of the area’s mining past and is named after the mine director who managed the mine from 1875 to 1908.
In front of the tunnel stands a mine car and an information panel detailing the tunnel’s history. From the entrance, you can see 10 meters into the tunnel, at the end of which a miner can be seen at work.
