Young and old alike can experience nature with their feet on the small barefoot path created by the village community in 2016 in the Balve district of Mellen. Parking spaces are available directly at the barefoot path. The village square with the barefoot path is also the starting point for two circular hiking trails - the Kyrill and bark beetle adventure trail (BK1+2).
