The viewing platform, newly built in 2014 by the Balve section of the Sauerland Gebrigsverein, is located 500 m above sea level in the Balve Forest. The magnificent viewpoint can be reached via the access route to the Sauerland Forest Route. This begins in Balve at the parking lot in front of the train station and is marked with a green W on a white background. Walking time from the parking lot approx. 60-75 minutes.
