The new viewing platform built in 2014 by the Balve section of the Sauerland Gebrigsverein is located 500 m above sea level in the Balver Wald forest. The magnificent viewpoint can be reached via the access route to the Sauerland-Waldroute. This begins in Balve at the parking lot in front of the train station and is marked with a green W on a white background. Walking time from the parking lot approx. 60-75 minutes.
