Arnsberg-Menden airfield

Following a comprehensive renovation, the airport building at Arnsberg-Menden Airport now features a modern corrugated metal facade that combines architectural elegance with functional durability. The stylishly furnished restaurant offers not only delicious food and refreshing drinks but also seasonal outdoor dining on a spacious terrace. From there, guests can enjoy an impressive view of the bustling tarmac, where planes take off and land in every season. Winter evenings here promise a very special atmosphere, when the runway lights twinkle in the dark and the frost makes the air crisp and fresh.

A separate lounge area is available for events of all kinds and is ideal for private celebrations or corporate events. Guests staying overnight can look forward to newly redesigned hotel rooms that perfectly combine comfort and contemporary style. A highlight for aviation enthusiasts is the Redbird full-motion flight simulator, which offers a fascinating and realistic flight experience and allows visitors to safely explore the skies even in winter. The flight simulator not only delights tech enthusiasts but also offers an unforgettable experience for adventure-seeking winter visitors.

There’s also plenty for families to enjoy: an outdoor playground offers the youngest visitors an exciting diversion and allows parents to relax in the restaurant or on the terrace. Thus, the Arnsberg-Menden Airport is not only an important hub for transportation but also a versatile destination that offers something for everyone—whether you’re looking up at the sky or out toward the horizon.
