Wasserfall Terrace Campground

Terrassencamping Wasserfall combines camping close to nature with a unique location in the Hochsauerland region. The family-run campground has been operated by the Kersting family since 1978 and is nestled in terraces amidst the green Sauerland countryside. This creates campsites with plenty of character, beautiful views, and a pleasant blend of tranquility, closeness to nature, and an uncomplicated camping experience. For short-stay guests, campsites are available on private terraces, suitable for RVs, trailers, and tents. Electrical hookups are provided, and water faucets and restroom facilities are centrally located on the grounds. Those arriving without their own camping vehicle will find a cozy alternative with rustic wooden charm in the heated pod cabins and sleeping barrels. A small self-service kiosk, a bread cart, and the Kota barbecue provide practical and convivial moments during your stay. The surrounding area makes the campground particularly appealing: hiking trails, forests, scenic overlooks, and attractions such as Fort Fun Adventure Land, the Ramsbeck Mine, and winter sports opportunities in the region are all within easy reach. Terrassencamping Wasserfall is thus an ideal starting point for families, nature lovers, active vacationers, and anyone who wants to experience the Sauerland in a relaxed way, no matter the season.
