On a freezing winter night, a hare, a fox, and a bear knock on the door of Vanja’s cabin, one after the other. All three are half-frozen, and because the snowstorm is raging so fiercely, they swear on their honor not to harm one another.
Will this turn out all right? Peaceful coexistence is possible. Or did Wanja just dream it all?
Based on the popular picture book by Tilde Michels and Reinhard Michel, this story shows how Wanja’s long life as a hermit has shaped him into a lovable and open-hearted person whose dreams speak of peaceful coexistence and the art of sharing.
The story is poetically reinterpreted through a blend of song, drama, and puppetry, offering a wonderful experience that speaks to strength and resilience in difficult times.
Running time: 50 minutes.
