Since 1901, the Lippstadt water tower has shaped the panorama of the city of Lippstadt. Decommissioned in 1977, the industrial monument has been open to the public since 2013. The work of light art by Jan-Peter Sonntag impresses with an infinitely rising column of light, which combines with a sound installation and the interior of the water tower to create a total work of art. The group also learns about how the water tower works and Lippstadt's water management.
