“FACES AND STORIES –
JEWISH LIFE IN GERMANY” - Exhibition
Theexhibition at Brilon City Hall is an ideal starting point for individuals, school classes, and anyone interested in learning more about the history and present-day reality of Jewish people in Germany. Often drawing on personal narratives, the exhibition focuses on everyday life; milestones in history, culture, and politics—along with their consequences—are brought to life through the stories of specific individuals. QR codes are also displayed on the roll-up banners, linking to various online resources.
Complementing this, a poster exhibition features Jewish people from Brilon and reconstructs their life’s work and life stories. The month of November and this exhibition stand for democracy, freedom, and human dignity—and against forgetting.
