“Colors Connect” – City Hall Exhibition “
” This exhibition is not a tentative exploration—it is a bold statement. Under the artistic guidance of the Margit Heuser Art School, a space is being created here where ideas are tested, discarded, reimagined, and finalized. The works showcase not only results but also an attitude: the willingness to engage and to take one’s own expression seriously.
What is growing here goes beyond what was learned in class. It is a collaborative process that does not smooth over differences but rather strengthens them. Each artist develops her own visual language—clear, independent, and compelling. “Colors Connect” embodies this tension between individual perspective and collective development. For the courage to become visible—and for the strength that arises when exactly that is shared.
Two groups totaling 16 artists from Brilon and the surrounding area have been working on the exhibited paintings over the past seven months. They look forward to the viewers’ reactions at City Hall.
