From potato pancakes, barbecued delicacies and potato pancakes to sweet temptations such as waffles and cookies, everything is on offer. Winter drinks such as mulled wine, punch and baked apple liqueur and homemade products such as jams, almonds and decorations are of course a must.
The fire department's vehicle show and the tombola with great prizes from the advertising association, the proceeds of which go to the two Meggen kindergartens, round off the program. Visitors can also purchase Christmas trees during the event.
A special highlight is the performance by the kindergarten children from St. Bartholomew's, who will perform a children's dance at 3.45 pm. St. Nicholas is then expected to arrive at 4 p.m. with little surprises for the children.
The Meggen associations are looking forward to welcoming numerous visitors to celebrate the Advent season together in a festive atmosphere. The Schützenhof will remain open during the event.
