Bad Sassendorf Christmas Market

The Winter Sparkle Christmas Market invites you to take an extended stroll through lovingly decorated Bad Sassendorf. The almost 65 huts and 2 rides for children are spread across three squares in the pedestrian zone (at Jahnplatz and Sälzerplatz) and in the Kurpark in a cosy atmosphere. The stallholders offer handicrafts, handmade items and glittering accessories as well as winter decorations.

Delicacies, flickering fire baskets, decorations and light accents create a wonderful atmosphere. There is also Christmas music on Advent Sundays and Santa Claus and his little angel with lots of treats await the little ones in the afternoon. There are several places to stay in tents and shelters.

The huts close their doors every evening at 7 pm with the call of Frank the night watchman and you can end the evening comfortably at the mulled wine stand, the gastronomy is open until 8 pm.

The Christmas market takes place from Thursday, 12 November to Sunday, 20 December (closed on 22 November, the Sunday of the dead). Opening hours: Thursday and Friday from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. (Remembrance Day, November 16, 1 p.m. to 7 p.m.).
