At the Christmas market, you will find everything that makes a cosy market: decorated Christmas trees, the smell of delicious mulled wine and tasty food, a colorful stage program and the best atmosphere for visitors.
As every year, well-stocked sales huts will once again be part of the cozy market. A total of 11 rustic wooden huts will make the newly designed market square between the South Sauerland Museum and the parish church the location of the contemplative Christmas village.
And the extensive range of goods on offer also creates a Christmassy atmosphere every year. From seasonal decorations to woodwork and gift items, there is of course also plenty of food and drink on offer: a large mulled wine hut and other tasty treats spread an attractive aroma throughout the square.
In addition to the huts of the traders who are on site with regional products, voluntary work is also promoted. Local clubs, kindergartens and charitable organizations will be represented in two of the huts, changing daily. The daily changing offer in the volunteer huts attracts more and more curious visitors.
To round it all off, regional musicians and artists will present their performances on the small Christmas stage. Santa Claus will also make his annual stop at the Attendorn Christmas Village on his journey.
Browse through the varied offerings with friends and family, drink a delicious mulled wine or try other treats. All of this is possible at the beginning of December on Attendorn's market square. The huts at the Christmas market are usually open during the week from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm and at the weekend from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm.
