Touring bike

There are always ups and downs in the Sauerland. But does a bike tour in the region always have to be strenuous? Not at all! Because here you will find the most beautiful bike paths in NRW, on which you can ride leisurely through the countryside. They lead along rivers or lakeshores or over former railroad lines. And so they are low in gradients - but all the richer in experience. One of them is the RuhrtalRadweg, which starts in the Sauerland and leads to the Ruhrgebiet. This route brings the two neighboring regions even closer together and presents their best sides. The MöhntetalRadweg and the Diemelradweg each accompany "their" namesake river, while the SauerlandRadring with its HenneseeSchleife runs where the railroads used to run. There are plenty of museums, excursion destinations, cafés and restaurants along the way, which is why this route is considered one of the best cycling routes for families in NRW.
