Pyramids in the Sauerland? That sounds surprising at first, as these striking structures are more likely to be found in Egypt and associated with the time of the pharaohs. However, in Sauerland, more precisely in Lennestadt-Meggen, the seven pyramids are home to the Galileo Park, a real excursion highlight. The reason for this is the changing exhibitions, sometimes with scientific themes, sometimes with mysterious phenomena, myths or legends, which always provide a new reason for a visit.
