The Winkeln parking lot for hikers is located in the north of Schalksmühle and is not directly connected to the marked trail network.
Facing the sign, go right through the forest downhill into Nahmertal. Keeping to the left goes into the Mesekendahl. From there there is a connection to the marked network of paths.
