As the municipal utility of the town of Warstein, we are particularly committed to the well-being of the citizens of our region. Reason enough to introduce the Warstein municipal utility to you a little more closely and to inform you about our work.
The focal points of our tasks are:
- the supply of high-quality drinking water
- the harmless drainage of wastewater and rainwater
- the operation of the Allwetterbad Warstein and two other baths,
- relieving the pressure on the city center by operating the industrial railroad, which transports lime, wood and Warstein beer in an environmentally friendly manner.
- the supply of local heating to several residential areas
In addition, the municipal utilities hold a stake in WVG and thus ensure the low-cost supply of electricity and gas for all households, commerce and industry.
