The Protestant Margarethen Church with its characteristic onion dome is the center of the village. It was first mentioned in historical documents in 1147. Over the centuries, the building has undergone constant changes. Parish life is also characterized by modern forms of worship and is also reflected in the numerous groups that have found a home in the Lutherhaus.
The origins of the medieval St. Margaret's Church with its rectangular preaching hall date back to a 14th century hall church. The result was a hall church with a three-sided gallery built into the interior. The striking church tower is topped with an onion dome.
