Around the Bollenberg, which is situated at 405 m above sea level, there are many hiking opportunities: in an easterly direction to the Hochsauerlandkreis, for example, in the direction of Sorpesee or in the Märkichen Kreis in a northeasterly direction to the Mellen district of Balver.
