On May 11, 1989 the public library opens in the town hall of Olsberg! On an area of 100 square meters, 4000 media are initially available for lending.
20 years and 2 moves later, the stock has grown to almost 18,500 media units! At the current location, the library offers its customers enough space on a generous 324 sqm area and in 27 weekly opening hours enough time to browse through the diverse media offer and the different areas...
