The waterfall can only be reached on foot. In the village of Wasserfall a wooden sign shows the way to the Plästerlegge. From there it is about 20 minutes walk. The path to the waterfall is not accessible with a baby carriage.
Below the waterfall is a seating area that invites you to take a break. There are also information boards about the flora in the nature reserve "Plästerlegge".
The Plästerlegge is located in a nature reserve - therefore the view of the waterfall can be limited in the summer half-year due to the overgrowth!
