The so-called gates to the Sauerland-Waldroute, of which there is at least one in each of the 15 participating municipalities, provide a suitable setting for the start.
On a paved area framed by a hornbeam hedge, a modern seating area with an information board is located at each gate to the Sauerland-Waldroute. Before, during or after the hike, you can refresh yourself here and find out about the sights of the respective stage.
