The parish church of St. Severinus in Calle was built between 1853 and 1858. There was already a church on the same site, but it had to be closed in 1823 due to dilapidation.
At that time, the parish of Calle comprised 15 villages. This explains the unusual size of the church for the small village. In the parish church there is a high altar from 1636 with 5 panel paintings and 5 sculptures of saints.
On the rosary altar there is a Romanesque Madonna, which dates back to 1250. The cross is from 1600 and the sculptures of the saints on the columns and the pulpit were made during the construction of the church.
