#deinsauerland / Outdooractive POIs / Lambach pump Alme

The Lambach pump or water column machine is a single-unit product and was built according to local conditions. The manufacturer of the Alme pump is the Lambach machine factory from Oberwipper near Marienheide in the Rhineland.

From 1931 to 1977, this pump served to supply the village of Alme with drinking and service water. The former Pumpenhaus with the Lambach pump was located approx. 30 m west of the current site and had to make way for the realignment of the village thoroughfare (B 480).
