A large collection of over 500 roebuck horns will arouse the interest of any hunter or interested visitor. In addition to the history of the hunting club Schalksmühle-Hülscheid, hunting in the course of time is presented. The exhibits come from the estates of local hunters and have been donated to support the public relations work. Among the exhibits are also animal species such as hazel and partridge, which are no longer native today due to habitat changes. All in all, a wide range of native animal and bird species is exhibited.
Schools and kindergartens like to use the museum to convey information about the native animal world under professional guidance.
The Hunting and Wildlife Museum warmly welcomes visitor groups, clubs and interested people. The museum is expressly not only for hunters.
Unfortunately, the museum is not barrier-free to reach.
To reach handicapped people with our exhibition just talk to us!
Opening hours: On request! Registration and inquiries we accept by phone or email.
