This hiking parking lot offers the possibility to park your car for free and use wonderful hiking trails.
The fire oak, a special art object on the Rothaarsteig, and many informative boards show the history of forest use. The hiking tour on the Rothaarsteig to Brilon, the starting point of the Rothaarsteig, can be started here. Via the Ginsterköpfe and the Borbergskirchhof, the tour leads directly to the town center of Brilon. In the other direction, the tour can lead to Bruchhausen or even to Winterberg. Below the Bruchhauser Steine, you can be guided to the Bruchhauser Steine by the Info Center for a fee.
Also the quality tour Schmalahtalrundweg on the B1 starts at this hiking starting point. Please follow the good marking signs and hike around the Instenberg.
