Numerous hiking options are available from the Wegescheid hiking parking lot:
Seelenortwanderung Kohlhagen:
A short but varied circular hike over 6.5 km to Brachthausen with the cultural highlight of the pilgrimage church Kohlhagen and a stop at the farm café Gut Ahe.
Brachtser Höhenweg:
Start at the Wegescheid parking lot for the 13 km hike via the Kohlhagen chapel, Gut Ahe, Vorspanneiche, Dollenbruch parking lot and Varste back to the Wegescheid starting point.
