Both buildings were built after the great city fire in 1600 on the site of former castle manors.
Honningscher Hof and Hinterhaus. The house was the seat of the county clerk of the Duchy of Westphalia. It is said to have been the repository of the Epiphany shrine at the beginning of the 19th century.
Weichsscher Hof. Built as the town house of the chief huntsman von Weichs after the town fire of 1600. Ground floor of solid construction, upper floor of half-timbered construction with a hipped roof. It was owned by the von Weichs family until the 20th century and served as a residential building. Later it was sold and served for a time as a music academy. Now privately owned, it is once again a residential building.
