North of the small settlement Willertshagen on the Meinerzhagen town territory is the Grundlose: the headwaters of the Lister. The moor area surprises with an extraordinary flora and fauna and the typical moor birches. It is a nature reserve, which - of course also due to the moor soil - may not be entered.
On site, however, a viewing platform created by the Sauerland-Rothaargebirge Nature Park awaits visitors, providing hikers and walkers with a great overview of this moorland area. An information board informs about the flora and fauna.
The Grundlose can be reached via the marked hiking trail A5, which starts at the hiking parking lot Stoltenberg. This is a round trip, so you can get back to the starting point.
