Immerse yourself in the colorful world of the fair for four days, meet friends, stroll, feast and experience an attractive program - the Geseke Gösselkirmes always attracts visitors to the Hellwegstadt on the first weekend in May.
The Geseke fun fair starts on Thursday at seven o'clock in the morning with the livestock market and the animal show on the Calenhof and in the Uekernstraße.
On Thursdays already at 11.00 o'clock, on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays starting from 14.00 o'clock the Kirmestrubel begins in the city center.
In addition to the fair, on Friday afternoon the flea market around the pond is a point of attraction for collectors and bargain hunters.
On Saturday, starting at 2 p.m., the spring festival procession takes its spectators into different themed worlds, for example under the motto "Comics & Co. The float builders work for many weeks on their floats, Geseker kindergarten kids as well as pupils of the Geseker schools accompany the floats with the appropriate costumes. The parade participants are accompanied by music bands, which give the parade a special musical framework with their playing.
Following the spring festival parade, a music band invites to a short concert at the "Tent of Encounter".
With a sporty competition of the special kind the last Gösselkirmestag starts. On Sunday the east wall will be opened for the soapboxes from 9.30 am. Starting with the training runs, it then becomes serious from 11 o'clock, when the first race is started. Around 35 racing cars will then compete in the hunt for best times and trophies.
Already from 13 o'clock on the fair Sunday the Geseker Kaufmannschaft invites to the sales open Sunday. Until 18 o'clock may be rummaged to heart desire for special offers and be shopped.
Real fair fans will once again get their money's worth at the Geseke Gösselkirmes. Because beside the carousel classics, like Musikexpress and Auto-Skooter make further larger carousels station in the Hellwegstadt.
