The Ginsterkopf - or rather the Ginsterköpfe, because it is actually three mountain peaks lined up next to each other - is a physical challenge even for experienced hikers. But those who dare the ascent will be rewarded with a fantastic view. To the southwest, the Bruchhauser Steine, huge volcanic rocks, rise from the treetops. Further west Elleringhausen and behind it Olsberg. But not only the eyes are delighted up here. Also the ears are spoiled by a wonderful, natural silence. Narrow paths with soft forest floor wind their way over the three mountain tops. Nature enjoyment can hardly be more pristine and genuine!
By the way, the Ginsterkopf is also a Sauerland-Seelenorte. You can find out what makes it so from the author Michael Gleich on the Sauerland Hiking Villages page.
