The small village of Faulebutter, idyllically situated near the hiking triangle at Röhrenspring, has only a few houses.
Hikers are also allowed to park in the parking lot at Landgasthof Rademacher. A hiking sign from the Sauerland-Rothaargebirge Nature Park provides information about the course of the Höhenflug, about local circular hiking trails and about the curious place name Faulebutter. A black-marked access path takes you to the Sauerland-Höhenflug in just a few minutes, running along the chapel in the directly adjacent village of Weuspert.
From this parking lot, for example, a circular hike of about 11.5 km to Wildewiese is possible, which will take about 3.5 hours. More information here.
