The church in Meinerzhagen Valbert, consecrated in 1958, is a simple church building from the 1950s. However, some objects designed by the Bielefeld sculptor Arnold Rickert are interesting in the building. These include the altar, the altar chandelier and the altar cross.
The building of this church was preceded, according to corresponding documents, by a stone church, which stood at the same place around 1200.
