Opened in 2007, the Cineplex Olpe offers you all-round perfect cinema experience. It has 5 fully air-conditioned auditoriums with a total of 786 comfortable seats. The arena-shaped arrangement with a steep ramp ensures optimal visibility in all seats. The largest auditorium is Cinema 4 with 269 seats and a 110 square meter screen. All auditoriums are barrier-free and easily accessible independently for visitors with handicaps. However, the equipment of the Cineplex Olpe is not only comfortable, but also state-of-the-art. For this purpose, investments are constantly made in new technical developments. For example, our cinema was the first in Germany to be equipped with a Christie digital projector type CP2230.
Since March 2012, all auditoriums have been fully digitalized and equipped with projectors from the market leader Christie. These digital projectors guarantee a bright, high-contrast image. In the 3D-capable halls, we use the Dolby process with a channel separation of 100 percent. This ensures a razor-sharp 3D image in all seats. Perfect sound is provided by Datasat and Dolby sound processors, which reproduce 7.1 surround sound.
