If you hike on the Sauerland-Höhenflug from the Lenne valley up to the upper basin, you will gain over 300 meters in altitude. But the effort is worth it: Below the upper basin, which has been generating regenerative energy on the crest of the Dahlberg (570 m) since 1969, you can enjoy a fantastic view over the Sauerland. You can take a rest on a forest sofa under a group of oaks. If you want to go even higher, you can hike along the black-marked access path of the Sauerland-Höhenflug to the upper basin - 360° panoramic view included!
