Anyone who can experience science up close, try out amazing phenomena with their own hands, eyes and ears, and start their own experiments can quickly become an inventor. This is also the aim of the Phänomenta in Lüdenscheid, which aims to get young and old excited about the amazing world of physics. At 180 stations, there is plenty to touch, try out for yourself and marvel at, whether it's the walk-in mirror, the hand battery or the infinite scale.

Store

So much exploring and discovering makes you hungry - so hurry to the city center, which is only a few steps away. The pedestrian zone offers a wide variety of places to eat and drink, whether in the spacious modern squares or in the winding alleys of the Altstadt ( ). In numerous specialty stores and in the Stern-Center with its more than 100 attractive and modern stores, you can experience shopping with friendly and expert advice in a tempting variety throughout the year. On Wednesdays and Saturdays, one of the most attractive weekly markets in the region takes place on the town hall square.

Versetalsperre

If you want to enjoy the relaxing nature after or instead of a city center stroll, head to the Versetalsperre. From Lüdenscheid station, take the BUS 54 in the direction of Grünestraße ZOB, Plettenberg and reach the Versetalsperre in 17 minutes without changing trains.
