Arnsberg

Arnsberg has grown from 14 small towns and villages rich in tradition, which were merged into a regional center in 1975. The district of Arnsberg with its historical heritage is worth seeing and can be discovered especially well during eventful city tours. The historic town center is visible from afar on a ridge. Romantic winding streets and the ruins of the electoral castle form the medieval center.

On the well-developed RuhrtalRadweg, Arnsberg is one of the historically most important towns. On a stretch of more than 30 kilometers the Ruhr flows through Arnsberg and shows the versatility of the city.
