Het sociale en politieke klimaat tijdens het McCarthy-tijdperk in de VS brengt kunstenares Niki de Saint Phalle (Charlotte Le Bon) ertoe om met haar man Harry Matthews (John Robinson) en hun dochter naar Frankrijk te verhuizen. Maar de geesten uit haar verleden volgen Niki ook naar Europa. In plaats van een leven vol glamour als model en actrice in Parijs, stort Niki al snel in en moet ze psychiatrische hulp zoeken. Al doende vindt ze haar weg naar de beeldende kunst - en stelt al snel de conventies van deze wereld op de proef...(Frankrijk 2025, biopic, 98 minuten, FSK 12).
