A landscape tour of old and new sacred buildings.

We begin our visit with the parish church of Wenden.
(St. Severinus, built around 1750)
We continue to the church of the small mountain village of Heid.
(St. Antonius, newly built in 1956)
The church in Wildbergerhütte, newly built in 1981, sets a modern architectural example. Here mainly local building materials were used.

Afterwards we are captivated by the dignified elegance of the church of Friesenhagen St. Sebastianus.
(The origin of this church goes back approx. 900 years)
The church in Römershagen points to very early historical times in the border area. The tower of this church goes back to a former motte
At the end of the trip the pilgrimage chapel Dörnschlade, above Wenden, welcomes us.

Distance approx.: 25 Km
