In this training base of the Landesbetrieb Wald und Holz NRW, Regional Forestry Office Oberes Sauerland, experienced forestry masters of the state forest regularly train foresters (forest workers).

How to get there From the BAB exit Olpe via Lennestadt to Fleckenberg. Turn right here for 7 km to Latrop. From the east to Schmallenberg through the tunnel to Fleckenberg. Parking Use the hiking parking lot turning area in Latrop. Public transportation Bus route 466 runs in Latrop, as does the Schmallenberg Sauerland hiking bus (check the timetable). Timetable information: www.rlg-online.de With the Schmallenberg Sauerland Card you can use the hiking bus and public transport in the region free of charge.
